CAMP     COURAGEOUS ~ Year-round recreation, respite care and travel     camp. Traditional and adventure activities offered, like rock climbing, low     rope courses, swimming, canoeing, nature, crafts and more. Persons with     disabilities (ages 3 and up). Sessions and fees are $4.25/hour per camper,     but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Travel Camp is for campers who     work well in a group and are independent with personal care needs, some     trips wheel chairs accessible. CAMPLEE MAR ~ Lackawaxen, PA     ~ 7 week summer program for ages 7-21. Private residential special needs     camp for children and teenagers with mild to moderate developmental     challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and guidance are     emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS     academics, speech and language therapy, music and art, daily living skills,     sensory-motor-perceptual training, and computers.  Last summer we launched the Lee Mar L.I.F.E. Program (Living     Independently Functional Education). It was a huge success and we expect a     waiting list in 2016. CAMPMATZ ~ Watertown     ~We offer week long     residential camps for adults who have intellectual and developmental     disabilities. Activities that are offered – chapel, sing-a-long, cookouts,     nature and many more activities. Our camp sessions are open to individuals     ages 18 and up. EASTER SEALS WISCONSIN CAMPS ~ Wisconsin Dells ~ The core philosophy of CampWawbeek and Respite Camp is to     encourage campers to challenge themselves with new experiences and support     them in any way they need to be successful. Campers of all abilities and     diagnosis are welcome: campers who succeed (or want the social experience)     in small groups at Camp      Wawbeek, and campers     who require more individualized support at Respite Camp. The camps offer a     state of the art accessible swimming pool, field trips, accessible ropes     course, arts and crafts, games, friendship, and fun - all provided with the     support of trained staff members and volunteers. RESIDENTIAL CAMP     SANDY WHEELS ~ Mt. Morris, WI ~     Located at Mt.Morris Camp and ConferenceCenter.      Serving individuals ages 7 and up having a physical or cognitive     disability in Adams, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette,     Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago Counties first and if openings     are available outside these counties. Two one-week camp sessions are held     each year. Specially trained counselors and volunteers offer special     attention to each camper making as normal as possible the camping     experience. In collaboration with the UWO Adaptive Sports program, there     will be indoor and outdoor adaptive sports, dances, talent shows, awards,     swimming, crafts and bonfires in the evening. CAMPWINNEBAGO ~ Caledonia, MN ~ Providing recreational     opportunities in a scenic natural environment for people of all abilities. CampWinnebago offers vacation     opportunities designed for all ages and abilities including week long     residential "resort type" sessions and travel trips. We offer     swimming, arts and crafts, music and drama, sports, fishing, canoeing,     archery and other nature activities. We specialize in providing an     "Accomplishment Through Fun" atmosphere and focus on our camper's     abilities rather than their disabilities. COVENANT     HARBOR ~ CovenantHarbor     has been a place of retreat for youth, adults and families since 1947. Our     52 wooded acres on the north shore     of GenevaLake     were historically the site of an exclusive private estate. In this     beautiful country setting, we have established a long tradition of     personal, caring service to individuals, churches and non-profit     organizations. Many organizations consider CovenantHarbor     their retreat home - some groups returning for over 25 years. CovenantHarbor is open year-round to guest     retreats for weekend, mid-week and week-long camps, conferences and     retreats. LuWiSoMo Camp ~ The Joyful Hearts program is     specially designed for youth and adults with developmental disabilities.     This program provides a quality experience for campers in a safe and     Christian environment. Each day campers will participate in a chapel     service and Bible study as well as a variety of activities modified for     each individual camper. Activities include arts and crafts, swimming,     canoeing, archery, and an assortment of games. Each day there is also a     special activity. On Mondays there are horse rides, Bingo on Tuesdays, a     talent show on Wednesdays, and a wagon ride and dance on Thursdays. These     special daily activities help make the week a truly unique experience. Our staff members and volunteers are trained in working     with campers with a variety of disabilities. The staff are committed to     ensuring that each camper receives personal guidance and assistance as     needed. We strive to maintain a one-to-one or two-to one ratio of campers     to staff or volunteers to ensure that each camper has the best camp     experience possible. MOON BEACH CAMP ~ (St.     Germain) / PILGRIM      CENTER (Ripon) ~     Owned by the United Church of Christ – offers both youth camps and family     camps. All are welcome, scholarships available. Several cabins and common     buildings are ADA     compliant. Campers take part in traditional summer camp activities, as well     as lots of free time. Excellent meals and a great place to stay. WISCONSIN BADGER CAMP ~ Prairie du     Chien ~ Overnight camp for youth and adults with developmental disabilities     with one session for children ages 3 – 13, one session for young adults     ages 14 – 21, and 8 sessions for adults over 18. WBC does not turn away     anyone due to geographic location or severity of disability. Travel and primitive     programs are also available for those looking for a little more adventurous     outdoor experience. Camperships are available to those in need. WISCONSIN LIONS CAMP ~     Rosholt ~ Located on beautiful Lions Lake, free, one-week camp sessions are     available at the Wisconsin Lions Camp near Rosholt, WI for children and     adults ages 6 and above who are deaf or hard of hearing, or blind or     visually impaired, children ages 9-17 with intellectual disabilities/educational     autism, and children 9-15 with diabetes.
