LuWiSoMo Camp ~ The Joyful Hearts program is specially designed for youth and adults with developmental disabilities. This program provides a quality experience for campers in a safe and Christian environment. Each day campers will participate in a chapel service and Bible study as well as a variety of activities modified for each individual camper. Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, archery, and an assortment of games. Each day there is also a special activity. On Mondays there are horse rides, Bingo on Tuesdays, a talent show on Wednesdays, and a wagon ride and dance on Thursdays. These special daily activities help make the week a truly unique experience. Our staff members and volunteers are trained in working with campers with a variety of disabilities. The staff are committed to ensuring that each camper receives personal guidance and assistance as needed.
